In this world, there are 2 types of people the avocado lovers and those who can’t stand it. Where do you fall?

Good Morning Millennial Readers,

It’s yet another bright day to try a healthy and delicious recipe that will leave you wanting for more. Not only is it a favourite for many, but avocado is an equally nutritious fruit filled with vitamins C, E, K and B6 and it contains healthy fats which are vital for your body moreso if you want to get into a keto diet.

Aside from its nutrient content, avocados are beneficial for the heart and may have components that help prevent cancer. They are also beneficial during pregnancies as they support fetal health and aid in improving digestion. Additionally, avocados play a significant role in reducing the risk of depression by helping regulate mood. Mental health is a vital topic in our generation, making avocados’ impact particularly relevant.

Some time ago, I wasn’t a big fan of avocados. In fact, they would make me feel nauseated. However, I am delighted to announce that I have successfully become a member of the avocado fan club after many trials and errors. During this journey, I stumbled upon a life-changing recipe that has taken the world by storm. I sincerely hope that it will also have a transformative impact on your life.

Let’s Prepare Some Guacamole

Guacamole is a delightful blend of common ingredients that are likely to be found in our kitchen. The beauty of this recipe lies in the fact that avocados are currently in season, allowing you to easily obtain them from your local market at an affordable price.

Ingredients

  • 3 avocados, ripe
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeds removed and finely diced (optional)
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

Here are the step-by-step instructions for preparing guacamole:

  • Begin by slicing the avocados in half. Remove the pit and scoop out the avocado flesh into a mixing bowl.
  • Mash the avocado using a fork, adjusting the texture to your preference, whether you prefer a chunky or smooth consistency.
  • Next, add the remaining ingredients to the bowl and stir them together. Give the mixture a taste test and, if necessary, add a pinch more salt or lime juice according to your taste.

These simple instructions will guide you in making delicious guacamole.

This can be served with potato crisps or my favourite, fries. You can also have it with any meal of your choice. Another way I like to have my guacamole is on bread as a spread together with peanut butter.

I hope you enjoy this recipe and be sure to share it with your family and friends. Remember to comment down below on how you like having your guacamole. Have a great weekend ahead of you and an even better week.
