Good Morning Millenial Readers! It’s Friday, so you know we’re dishing out some more fashion secrets.

It’s difficult to commit to one style these days. People’s styles have evolved gradually, and they now dress for varied seasons and weather conditions, which might be disadvantageous at times.

Scarves have always stepped in and contributed beauty to one’s sense of fashion, so it’s no wonder that they’re a hot issue right now.

Scarves have never failed to wow as a statement piece, and when worn correctly, they can look fantastic. Sometimes it’s easy to forget that the best look is one that makes you comfortable in your own skin.

Scarf As Outerwear

The main aim of wearing scarves as outerwear is to provide more warmth to the body. This doesn’t mean that they should be plain and boring. Matching your scarf and outfit is one of the simplest ways to make you look effortlessly attractive.

If you’re wearing neutral colors, consider a  bold-colored scarf that will add an extra pop of color.

Scarves As Accessories.

  1. Neckerchief.

Have you ever heard of a neckerchief before? To achieve this look, all you need is a short silk scarf.

This works best if you’re wearing a V-necked top or dress and have no necklace to pair it with. With this, you can pick any color from neutrals to bold prints, whichever works for you and your outfit.

Silk is the preferred fabric as it’s soft to the touch and doesn’t cause irritations. Make sure to try this look.

  1. For Styling Baggy T-shirts.

Do you have one of those plain baggy t-shirts that you never leave the house with? It’s time to transform it into a fashion statement.

This trend involves using scarfs as belts for styling baggy tees. The scarf is used to make the whole look more fashionable and outstanding.

Scarves on Hair.

  1. For Styling Natural Hair

If you’re having a bad hair day and you have no time to head over to the salon, a scarf will literally save you.

When I was searching for a good video, I found many tutorials on Youtube. However, Wabosha’s One Scarf Four ways video was by far the best.

Each style takes less than five minutes to accomplish and you’ll leave the house looking absolutely stunning.

  1. For Styling Braids

Styling scarves in your braids add the extra pizzazz that takes your hair to the next level. This is especially true if you have plain black box braids and want to add a pop of color to your hair.

Pick a scarf with the color of your choice and wrap it around your head. Ladies, this works best if your braids are in a high ponytail.

If your braids are long overdue but you still want to keep them for longer, this is definitely a hack worth trying.
