The life of a New York hairdresser changes when she accidentally gets hired to cut the hair of a prince. 

The Royal Treatment is a movie that will have romcom lovers swooning. The main actress, Laura Marano is famously known for the movie, perfect date while the main actor, Mena Massoud known for his role as Aladdin in the Disney movie. The film is set in an imaginary country called Lavania. 

When the Prince of Lavania is in New York for his engagement party, he asks his butler to schedule his haircut. Not knowing where to call, his butler dials the best salon in New York, Izzy’s salon official tagline. He offers to pay $500 dollars for the prince’s haircut. 

Izzy plays it cool and goes to meet Prince Thomas. Minutes after she arrives, she storms out of the hotel after noticing an injustice being done to a house help. The prince follows her back to her salon, apologizes and gets his haircut. A bond is formed between the two and when an opening to cut the royal family’s hair for the upcoming wedding comes up, the prince recommends Izzy’s salon. 

Izzy and her salon crew travel to Lavania where their makeup and hairdressing skills are tested by Madam Fabre, a rather mean woman. During their stay in the palace, the prince and Izzy get to spend more time together. He takes a liking to her honesty and her need to change the world. The bride is indifferent since it’s an arranged marriage but her mother doesn’t approve. 

A photo of Izzy and Prince Thomas is published in the newspaper which leads to Izzy getting fired and she has to go back to New York. Will the prince drop everything and chase her or will his ties and loyalty to his country hold him back? 

Our Call: The Royal Treatment is definitely worth watching. The sweet story will have all rom-com lovers swooning plus did I mention how handsome the prince is?
