This has been a very interesting week and I believe we have all been educated if not challenged in some way. Just to set the record straight I wanted to highlight the main purpose of this week’s content.

As Millennials we were born into this world and found the majority of these systems already in play, and we were taught to live by them. Religious institutions are an example of these systems and from this week’s post, it is evident that the Church is the most popular religious institution of our time.

These are just some of the questions that were brought to light. Bear in mind that we are not passing judgement to the church but we are instead calling them to be accountable to the society that they are sworn to protect. My final question to the church would be this;

Mathew 5:13

13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

NIV BIBLE

As the scripture clearly shows, if you the church cannot be the difference and the hope of humanity, what then is the purpose of your continued existence? These questions are meant to provoke change in these religious institutions lest they loose their saltiness and end up thrown out of our society forever.
